"Just to let you know that Jake has settled in so well with our family.
We couldn't be happier with him. He's got the most warm, playful and intelligent personality and seems to be thoroughly enjoying his life with us. He's getting on fine with our cats, growing fast and responding well to training.
Just a couple of questions re grooming. Jake loves being brushed and this does the job in keeping his coat clean once the daily mudbath has dried! Should we get him clipped in the summer and should we ever bathe him? He seems fine with just brushing and isn't a smelly dog, unless he's really wet, so I'm inclined not to bathe, but just wanted to double check. His coat is so gorgeous, but we're worried he'll overheat with the weather hotting up, so wondered if you had any advice re clipping.
Anyway, thanks for providing us with such a treasure." |

"Have eventually caught up with various things and found time to sort out a few photos of Dylan for you. He is such a lovable and gorgeous little soul and very mischievous too. Into everything which he imagines is put there for his delight and teething like mad so chewing whatever he can get hold of. He is now totally house trained and good as gold. Everyone loves him including of course all the family and their dogs are really good with him and he has a great time playing with them all. He is now chipped and insured and due for another worming session at the vet next week (who incidentally was very taken with him on his last worming visit!) He is a very loving litte pup and loves everybody but particularly likes lying as near as he can get to us in the evenings when we have had supper. He is also very good now in the car and enjoys trips out down to the beach etc., etc.
Our little pup has certainly wormed his way into our affections and we love him to bits although our lovely old lab Noony is still in our hearts and we miss and remember him. However, I am sure he would have approved of little Dylan who has eased the pain a great deal.
Hope all is well with you. I have given your number to one or two people who have expressed an interest in a labradoodle having seen Dylan
Many thanks for allowing us having your lovely little dog. He is much loved." |
